Thomas Pugh (d. 1806) was a resident of Bertie County. In 1777 he served as a justice of the peace and served on the Bertie County Court, in which role he received the depositions of several men involved in the Gourd Patch Conspiracy. He also served as a Lt. Colonel in the Bertie County Regiment of the North Carolina Militia from 1775-1778, after which he became a Colonel for the same regiment.
