Biographical Description

James Harvey (1751-1777) was Jacob Blount's son-in-law who contracted flux (likely dysentery) during the summer of 1777. In a letter on July 6, 1777 Blount expressed his fear that Harvey would not recover from the illness and these fears came true when Harvey died on July 11th.
