Biographical Description
Thomas Taylor was a resident of Chowan Precinct, North Carolina. In 1733 he made an agreement with the Chowanoke Nation in which they allowed him to rent a portion of their land for thirteen years in exchange for 250 pounds of tobacco a year. He died in Chowan in about 1758.
