Biographical Description
Thomas Jarvis emigrated to North Carolina by 1663, settling in Perquimans Precinct. A member of the North Carolina Council in 1672, he may have fled to Virginia following Culpeper's Rebellion, returning to North Carolina by 1684. He later served as the colony's deputy governor from 1690 to 1694. He died in about September 1694.
