Biographical Description

Edward Wells was a resident of North Carolina who was part of the rebel group that ousted Thomas Miller from his customs position as part of Culpepper's Rebellion in 1677. Wells later served as a member of the Albemarle County Court in 1684. Any further information about this individual has not been located.
