Cheatham, Leonard Pope

Biographical Description

Leonard Pope Cheatham was born in Amelia County, Virginia on September 9, 1792. A resident of Nashville, Tennessee, he served as the city's postmaster and as a deputy clerk of the county court. He died in Nashville on March 7, 1863.
