Biographical Description
William Taylor was born in Culpeper County, Virginia on December 19, 1737. A resident of Orange and Granville Counties in North Carolina, he served as a lt. col. of the 6th Regiment of the North Carolina State Troops during the American Revolution. He died in North Carolina on November 5, 1803.
