Biographical Description
George Hodge served as a captain in the Orange County Regiment of the North Carolina Militia from 1778 to 1781. From late 1780 to 1781, he led a group of men from Orange County in a unit of the North Carolina Light Horse Regiment. He died in Orange County in December 1789.
