Biographical Description

Jesse Radford was born in Virginia in about 1790. A farmer in Buncombe (later Yancey) County, North Carolina, he married Anna Edwards in about 1813. Anna's mother, Ruth Crabtree Edwards lived with them and when Ruth died Radford acted as the administrator of her estate. Radford died in Yancey County in about 1854.
