Biographical Description

William Edwards Jr. was born in Bedford County, Virginia in 1771. The son of a Revolutionary War veteran, he assisted his mother in trying to obtain a widow's pension and resided in Yancey County, North Carolina as a farmer. He died in Yancey County in about February 1850.
