Biographical Description
Mary Henry was born about 1838 in North Carolina. Before 1846, her family moved to Raleigh from Fayetteville. In Raleigh she and her siblings often met with their cousin, Margaret Eliza Cotten, as they were of similar age. She later married Matthew Page Taylor in 1855 and died in Raleigh in 1857, likely due to childbirth.
