Biographical Description
Alexander James Pendley was born in Globe (Caldwell County), North Carolina, on October 8, 1860. Pendley moved to North Wilkesboro (Wilkes County) around 1910, where he worked as a foreman at a grist mill. He died in North Wilkesboro on February 22, 1923.
