Biographical Description
John Bryant Norris was born in Wilkes County, North Carolina, on September 10, 1871. For most of his career, Norris worked as a wholesaler lumber dealer in North Wilkesboro. During World War I, he served as chairman of the Wilkes County chapter of the American Red Cross. He died in North Wilkesboro on December 14, 1944.
