Biographical Description
William Morris Tye was born in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, on October 21, 1871. Tye was a stock broker who lived in Charlotte for several years before moving to Greensboro in the latter part of his life. He died in Greensboro (Guilford County) on July 18, 1932.
