Biographical Description
Joseph Nelson Wilson was born in Pensacola Township (Yancey County), North Carolina on January 8, 1863. Wilson, a son of mountain guide "Big Tom" Wilson, was a lifelong farmer in Pensacola Township. He died in there on October 30, 1938.
