Biographical Description
Thomas Lee Hayes was born in North Carolina on July 16, 1874. Hayes was a merchant and farmer in Boonville (Yadkin County) who served as the chairman of the Boonville Relief Committee in the aftermath of the July 1916 flood. He died on February 20, 1942.
