Stephen Fagan (c1755-1813) was a resident of Tyrrell and later Martin Counties. In 1777 he and his brothers swore three oaths of secrecy before Daniel Leggett and became members of the Gourd Patch Conspiracy. He later submitted a deposition testifying about his knowledge of the plot to local officials.
