Biographical Description
Luther David Knott was born on October 21, 1888, in Granville County, North Carolina. Knott was an insurance and real estate agent who served as a special agent for the Bureau of Investigation (precursor to the Federal Bureau of Investigation) during World War I. He died in Dunn (Harnett County) on September 8, 1933.
