Charles Slover Wallace was born on December 2, 1864, in Portsmouth, North Carolina. Wallace was president of the Wallace Fisheries Co., a producer of fish scrap and oil, in Morehead City, North Carolina. He died in Morehead City (Carteret County) on September 14, 1945.
