Biographical Description
Henry Francis Carter was born on April 13, 1889, in Maxton, North Carolina. Carter was vice president of the J. W. Carter Co. in Maxton when he registered for the draft (World War I) in June 1917. He died in Laurinburg (Scotland County) on August 30, 1962.
