Biographical Description
Peter Wilson Hairston was born on February 11, 1871, at Oak Hill Plantation in Virginia. Hairston was a farmer and landowner in Davie County, North Carolina, who served as chairman of the Davie County Exemption Board during World War I. He died in Fulton (Davie County) on November 14, 1943.
