Biographical Description

Marshall Hall Fletcher was born on December 20, 1858, in Henderson County, North Carolina. Fletcher was a physician and surgeon who served on the Committee of American Physicians and guided the state's mobilization of medical resources during World War I. He died in Asheville on January 30, 1925.
