Former Employees,
Care A. Y. KellyConsolidated Textile Corp. Pilot Division,
Raleigh, N.C.

Your letter of the twenty fourth through Mr. Mangum has been received and we are glad to have this expression of your views. It leads us to believe we are not as far apart as we thought and that the present difficulties are due to lack of understanding rather than real differences. Our plans contemplate among other things a larger participation in mill management by employees and larger opportunity for you all through Textile education. These matters we can hardly be expected to discuss with you while not in our employ. We have discussed your letter with Mr. Kelly and left the matter entirely in his hands and if you return to work Monday feel sure a satisfactory solution can be reached.

F. K. Rupprecht,
President. (2:52 P.M.)

In line with the above if you desire and will return to work on Monday A.M. I will endeavor to get Mr. Rupprecht here or some representatives from here will go there, with the view of formulating plans as outlined by this telegram.

A. Y. Kelly.
