The deposition of William Fry aged about Eighteen years on Oath Saith
That on the 24th day of May 1757 he I was travelling on the Road leading from Bonners Bridg to Cashy after passing Bonners Bridg about one Mile and Some better I Saw a woman lying dead on the Road with a great deal of blood lying at the place where She lay being a S Small Branch over which was a pole Causway I Run with my might till I heard Somebody Call who asked me if I Saw Ever a woman I told there was one dead a little way of and further Saith not—
