Know all men by these presents, That I Anna Guest widow of William Guest (who was a soldier in the revolutionary war) do hereby constitute and appoint Thomas Lumpkin my true and lawful attorney for me and in my name to prosecute my claim to any increase and arrears of pension that may be found due on account of the services of said William Guest as aforesaid and I hereby authorise my said Attorney to examine all papers and documents touching my claim, on file in the departments at Washington or elsewhere, and file any additional evidence or arguments he may think proper, to ensure the recovery of the same.
