Declaration
In order to withdraw the claim of Anna Guest to a pension under the act of 4th. July 1836, and assert it under the acts of 1843, and 1844.

On this twenty seventh day of November 1846, personally appeared Mrs. Anna Guest before me, who declares that she is ^the widow of William Guest, and^ the same who made application, by declaration dated 4th. September 1845, for a Pension under the act of congress of 4th. July 1836, that she is a resident of this District and aged about 82 years, that she has been defeated for want of sufficient proof to succeed with her claims under that act, and she hereby relinquishes her said claim; and claims the benefit of the provision made by the acts of 1843 and 1844, to which she is informed she is entitled—for the necessary proof and statements in the matter, she refers to her former declaration and the proof therewith & subsequently sent.
