Personally appeared before me Woodson Blankenship a Justice of the peace in & for said County Capt Moses Guest & Thompson Epperson, resident in the County & state aforesaid, hereby certify that they are well acquainted with William Guest of Pickens District in the state of Southcarolina and that they saw & Knew him in the Militia of North carolina, in Capt Guests Company of light Infantry Dagoons, in the service of the United States in the Revolutionary War—
