Yours of the 19th. Inst. is at hand, and altho' Mrs. Anna Guest, in whose behalf you write, is not satisfied of the justice of her claim under the act of 4th. July 1836, being withheld—yet her present necessities forbid her refusal of our grant of a pension to her under the acts of '43 & '44, you will therefore please forward her certificate accordingly—

She does not however yet respond of being able able to satisfy you of her marriage previous to her husbands last period of service, but at present cannot think of any way to do so.
