Enclosed I send you some affidavits respecting the date of the marriage of Mrs. Ann Reese ^Guest^, by herself and Elijah Keese. I am not acquainted with either Mrs. Guest or Mr. Keese, but I am intimately with W. S Grisham and Wm. Steele Esqrs. also with the Clerk of the Court Mr Keith. All of whom I have no hesitancy in asserting are men of character and veracity, and every credit may be given to their certificates.

The age and circumstances of Mrs. Guest make it very desirable that she should at an early day, get what ever the law may entitle her to—and therefore request you would give her application an early answer.
