Being unable at present to make the further proof of my marriage to my late husband William Guest, required by your several communications to my agent Col. Norton; I must accept your proposition to grant me a pension under the acts of 3d. Mar. 1843 & 17th. June 1844, altho' fully satisfed of my right to it under the act of 1836; but my necessities require present aid, and a longer delay might deprive me of the benefit altogether. I hope therefore you will issue & forward certificates accordingly.
