The papers in the case of Thomas Robinson deceased have been examined, and they are herewith returned. Before a decision can be had a statement should be made shewing, to what regiment the deceased belonged, and the serviced performed by him, From the statement given it is believed that he served as a militia man in year 1781. The certificate given by Mr Hill, does not agree with the declaration as it regards the officers time of service, Unless the regulations be complied with, in setting forth the service, a favorable decision cannot be had.
