Be it known, That on the 25 day of April 1846 before me, the subscriber, being the proper accounting officer or agent for paying stipends under the act July 4, 1836, entitled "an act granting half pay to windows and orphans, where their husbands and fathers have died of wounds received in the military service of the United States, in certain cases, and for other purposes," and authorized by said Act to administer oaths in certain cases, personally appeared ELIJAH FULLER, the Attorney named in the foregoing Power of Attorney, and made oath that he has no interest whatever, in the money he is authorized to receive by virtue of the foregoing Power of Attorney, either by any pledge, mortgage, sale, assignment or transfer, and that he does not know or believe that the same has been so disposed of to any person whatever.
