Mr. A. Albritton,
Snow Hill, N.C.
Dear Sir:
The Governor directs me to say to you that he has received a letter from Judge Whedbee in which he suggests that Black be tried at the regular term of court which meets on June 26th, and that there is no necessity for a special term for this purpose. The Governor would like to know if this is agreeable to you and the other members of the bar? This is a regular term of court over which Judge Devin will preside.
Very truly yours,
