Mrs Connally is so reluctant to have a trial of her cause, & we are at so great disadvantage before a country jury I fear we will be robbed of property which she values very highly. Unless your recommendation is accepted I will feel very uncomfortable in not making the fight I was employed to make. I hope when you go to Burnsville you can manage your Comm.
