Hon. E. F. Watson,
Burnsville, N.C.
My dear Frank:
In my opinion it will not be advisable to use the remaining six thousand dollars to buy land on Mt. Mitchell. The timber makes the price too high.
I wish to express to you and to all members of the Commission the grateful appreciation of the people of the State of the services that you have rendered.
This Park will be a historical place, and the Commission will be remembered as the men who established it.
Yours very truly,
