In a conversation with Mr. J. W. Pless yesterday he told me that he has an agreement with you that the Steppe Spring claimed by Mrs. Connally, is not to be condemned. We can leave off a little niche on the south side of the mountain, stopping with the Mrs. Connally reservation, which is only about five acres, without detracting anything from the appearance, or the usefulness of the park. We wish to begin condemnation proceedings at once and will therefore ask you to indicate your opinion about the advisability of stopping at the Mrs. Connally reservation on the south side when we reach it.
