Mr. R. Mc. Andrews,
207 S. Sumter St.,
Sumter, S.C.

My dear Sir-

Your letter came in the rush of mail incident to the holidays and could not be answered at once. I am distressed to know of the situation that you describe at Badin, and will do what I can to correct it in a quiet way. It is a matter that you cannot handle very well through the mails. I do not believe, however, that if you return to Badin to get your things that you will be molested at all. I return the letter that you enclosed me.

Very truly yours,

[unsigned]
