Know all men by these presents that by we James Blake Zedekiah Stone & William Bryan are held and firmly Bound unto his Excellency Richard Caswell Esquire Governor &c &c in the sum of Two Hundred pounds Proclamation Money to the payment whereof well and truly to be made and done we Bind our selves our and each of our Heirs Exrs and Admins Jointly and Severally firmly by this Presents sealed with our Seals and dated this 14 Day of November 1777

The Condition of the above Obligation is such that whereas, by an Act of the General Assembly of this State of North Carolina Intitled an Act for Declaring what Crimes and practices against the State shall be Treason and what shall be misprison of Treason &c it is Enacted that the County Court in each and every County, and every Justice of the peace in each respective County shall and may Issue Citations against certain persons therein Discribed. In Virtue whereof James Blake having been Cited to appear at the County Court held for the said County on the second Tuesday in November and having appeared and Refused to take the Oath prescribed by the said Act of Assembly. It was ordered that he depart this State within Sixty days from the date hereof Now if the said James Blake do and shall well and truly depart this Stat within the term of time above mentioned then this Obligation to be void otherwise to be and remain in full force and Virtue
