To His Excellency Arthur Dobbs Esqr Capt General Governor & Commander in Chief &c &c.
This House having taken into Consideration the Loyalty and Obedeince to his Majesty of his Subjects in this Province so repeatedly Manifested by the large Grants which have been made from time to time towards the Defence of His Majesty's Just Rights and Possessions in North America during the Course of the Present War beg leave to request your Excellency to recommend to his Excelly. General Amherst, That he will be pleased to Certify to your Excelly as soon as conveniently may be, the Number and time the Troops raised in this Province for his Majesty's Service in the Years 1760 and 1761 have been in such Service to the end that our Agent in England may be instructed to make Representation thereof to his Majesty and apply for a Reimbursment to this Province of a Part of the great Expence which it hath incurred in the Raising Clothing and Paying such Troops
