September 16th, 1919.
Hon. Franklin D. Roosevelt,
Acting Secretary of the Navy,
Washington, D.C.
Dear Sir:-
I am in receipt of your esteemed favor of the 12th, and it gives me very great pleasure to grant permission to the Navy to erect on the site of the Naval Air Station at Morehead City, N.C. a permanent radio station. Of course it will be entirely agreeable to reserve for the use of the station quarters for the officer in charge and barracks for the enlisted men, and also such other quarters and conveniences as may be necessary.
Very truly yours,
Governor.
