Referring further to your letter of December 11th and my reply of December 13th.

I am glad to be able to advise you now that cars Vgn 1021, N & W 83202 and 91141 have been delivered Messrs. Powell & Powell, and car N & W 50137 arrived Raleigh last night and will be delivered today.

Owing to the very great shortage of coal on our line and in order to avoid the occasion for having to temporarily suspend operation of some of our trains, it was necessary for us to appropriate for our own use on December 16th N & W 92323, but this car will be replaced today with N & W 51535.
