Dr. Albert Anderson,
Raleigh, N.C.

My dear Dr. Anderson:-

I was in Tarboro Sunday, and I think the entire citizenship of the town is suffering the most poignant distress on account of the case of Charlie Hyman. It really is a most pitiful situation, and I will deeply appreciate it if you can arrange to take this young man in.

I do not think that the section in the Revisal about idiots over-rules the paragraph in the Act of 1907, which expressly calls for their admission. Charlie Hyman is a dangerous idiot, and is as much a menace to society as a dangerous lunatic.

Appreciating your interest in this matter, I beg to remain,

Very truly yours,

[unsigned]
