Be it known, That on this 22d. day of January A.D. 1852, before the subscriber a Justice of the Peace in and for the County and State aforesaid, personally appeared Susannah Alexander a resident of Mecklenburg County, and made oath in due form of law that she is the identical person who made application for a pension, for the services of her husband John Alexander rendered in the Revolution, and was allowed at the rate of thirty-dollars, per annum, that she has been informed, that the said pension ought to be increased that she is directly interested as a claimant in said Pension and makes this affidavit to be filed with such additional evidence or arguments as my Attorney or Agent may use in the prosecution of said claim—

I William Davidson Justice of the peace in and for the County aforesaid, do hereby certify that Mrs. Susannah Alexander who executed the foregoing paper is a respectable resident of this county and is I know directly interested in said claim as therein set forth—

I Braly Oates, Clerk of the County Court of the County and State aforesaid, do hereby certify that William Davidson before whom the foregoing papers were executed was at the time said papers were executed, and is now, a Justice of the Peace in and for said County duly authorized by law to administer oaths, and the name thereto subscribed is his signature—
