Read a Petition of Arthur Dobbs Esqr. Governor of North Carolina praying that his appointment of 1000: [per] Ann. payable out of the Quit Rents of the Province may according to the Reference of my Lords from his Majesty in Council be fixed upon some other convenient Fund to commence from the Date of his Patent.

This Request to be laid before his Majesty for his Majesty’s Directions thereupon.
