Local Exemption Bd.
Appeal Currituck Co. [handwritten at top]

October 27, 1917.

Mr. D. W. Woodhouse,
Poplar Branch, N.C.

My dear Sir:-

The Adjutant General did not intend to in any way suggest what the local board should do with the case of Ross L. White. He simply intended to suggest that it was within the local board and your board to re-open the case if you saw fit in your discretion to do so. Upon receiving the facts from your board the case was closed upon the books of the Adjutant General and White will not be exempted.

Very truly yours,

[unsigned]
